Lens filters are translucent pieces of glass
placed in front of a camera lens to alter or adjust the light entering the camera, and more importantly to protect the camera lens. Lens filters improve photographs by giving you control over light and allowing you to emphasize the features of a scene that you consider most important. This filter kit is a combination of the three essential filters no photographer should be without. PLEASE NOTE: Some cameras require an adapter tube to fit the filters. This filter set is compatible with the following camera models: Sony Alpha DSLR-A200, DSLR-A300, DSLR-A350
Candle In Globe (118-365)
I put a small candle in a glass
globe and lit it. There is a red filter behind the globe. The globe is sitting on a piece of glass
. the glass has a piece of black matting under it. There is a white cloth reflector about 18" behind the globe.

Auxiliary photo gear
My auxiliary photo gear, as of January 2009. Most of it is old stuff my dad had lying around at the attic.
My primary gear (not shown) is my Nikon D90 with a Tamron SP AF Aspherical Di LD IF 17-35 1:2.8-4 O77mm lens (Phew, that's a mouth full), an ancient aluminum tripod and a 1GB SD-card, all of which I used to make this photo.
glass filter cloth
Directions for use; use a slightly finer grind of coffee. Drop the washable, reusable cloth covered filter into the infussion chamber with the chain hanging down into the glass syphon tube. Pull the chain down until you can hook it to the bottom of the siphon tube. Fill the bottom carafe to the 5 mark with hot water and place 5 measuring spoons of coffee in top chamber. Fill the burner with soot free denatured alcohol, ethyl or an ethyl / isopropyl mixture that's high on the ethanol side - isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) tends burns hotter than ethyl or methyl alcohols, but also burns orange and produces a lot of soot. This is available at hardware or outdoor stores. It takes about 4 minutes to heat the water, all the water is siphoned to the top chamber and then allow 2 minutes to brew. Once you remove from the heat source, the coffee comes back down to the bottom carafe. Remove the top, placing it in its convertible lid/stand, and bring the pot to the table for serving.
